"The Child - A Little Ecologist" Etwinning

Project members: Yağmur Olhun and Hasret Ataman

As part of the project "The Child – A Little Ecologist," children participated in a variety of engaging and educational activities aimed at fostering environmental awareness and responsibility:

Bug Hotel: Children created bug hotels using natural and recycled materials, providing safe shelters for insects and learning about biodiversity and the role of insects in ecosystems.

Eco Train: Project members from four different countries each designed a unique wagon. These wagons were combined to form an international "Eco Train," symbolizing unity in environmental action. The train was accompanied by a meaningful slogan that reflected the project’s environmental message.

Scientific Experiments: Students conducted simple science experiments related to nature and sustainability, helping them understand ecological processes and the importance of protecting natural resources.

Plant Care Activities: Children took responsibility for growing and caring for their own plants, learning about the life cycle of plants and the importance of greenery in our environment.

Eco Fashion Show: An "Eco Fashion Show" was organized where children wore costumes made from recycled materials. This creative event highlighted the importance of recycling and reducing waste in a fun and expressive way.

These activities not only educated children about environmental issues but also encouraged them to take active roles as young ecologists and nature protectors.
