Building The Future (Etwinning)

Adana Seyhan İstiklal Anatolian High School Leads International eTwinning Project on Digital Citizenship   Adana Seyhan İstiklal Anatolian High School is proudly leading the international eTwinning project titled “Building the Future: E-Citizenship,” which officially started on March 1, 2025. The project is coordinated by German language teacher Mihriban Özdemir. It involves 12 partner schools: 1 from Georgia, 2 from Romania, 1 from Serbia, and 8 from Turkey, covering 11 provinces. The main objective of the project is to educate high school students about digital citizenship, encouraging them to become responsible, aware, and ethical participants in the digital world. The project enhances digital literacy and fosters ethical awareness in online environments.   So far, 60 students have actively participated in the project. Teachers have delivered presentations in their schools to raise awareness and encourage participation. As a result, a total of 5,380 students have been reached across Turkey within the scope of the project.   As part of the activities, teachers and students held separate meetings, followed by joint programs to strengthen cooperation. Students engaged in surveys and digital-themed games, and all participants attended essential seminars and training sessions. Each school contributed to the development of shared products, and all tasks were distributed and managed through effective collaboration.   We sincerely thank all teachers and students who contributed their time and effort to this meaningful project. Special appreciation goes to School Principal Mr. Gökçe Karaterzi for his unwavering support throughout the coordination process.
